Yes! States ban the use of headphones and earbuds while driving, and this would carry over to biking. Headphones are defined as over the ear speakers, and earbuds are in the ear speakers. How do I wear my iheadbones?
Our bone conduction headsets are designed to loop over your ear, with the bone conduction “speaker” resting on your cheek bone instead of “in” or “over” your ears like traditional headphones. iheadbones come with an adjustable headset to help you find the perfect positioning. Start with the headset comfortably loose around your head and the phone placed on the bone directly in front of your ear opening. Then, use the adjustable headset or the flex band to adjust until you find the position that gives you the most comfort, and the best quality sound. There are other areas on your head that will conduct the sound, so experiment! Back to top
I have a hearing aid, can I still use iheadbones?
Yes! In fact, many people with hearing loss, depending on the type of hearing loss, find that they can listen to a MP3 for the first time with iheadbones. That’s because bone conduction headsets work through a process that transmits sound through your head bones directly into your inner ear. Can I use my iheadbones if I am wearing a helmet?
Absolutely. With the release of the Cyclist Series 949, we would recommend this as the solution for your bike helmet. For other helmets, our iheadbones products are slim enough to rest comfortably on your head underneath your helmet. iheadbones Series 201 comes with a pair of Velcro® strips that easily attach your iheadbones to your helmet straps and the extra pressure applied by the helmet actually aids the conductivity! The wireless version sits under the helmet and is also held in place by the helmet straps. Back to top

How do iheadbones work?
